    The Gustavus men’s basketball team will host an alumni game to benefit cancer research and Students Against Drunk Driving (SADD) on Sunday, Nov. 13 at 3:00 p.m. at Gus Young Court. There will be no admission, however cash donations will be accepted at the door.

    The Gustavus men’s soccer team was given new life Monday morning when the NCAA selection committee granted them an at-large bid to the 2005 NCAA Tournament. Gustavus’ season will continue with a first round match against Hope College (Mich.) in Whitewater, Wisconsin on Friday at 1:30 p.m.

    Gustavus welcomes Bethel University to Lloyd Hollingsworth Field on Saturday in the 2005 season finale for both teams. The Gusties enter the game with a record of 2-7 overall, and 2-5 in the MIAC, while Bethel enters with a mark of 5-4 overall and 4-3 in the MIAC.
