The Gustavus baseball team opened 2005 MIAC play by sweeping Carleton College 5-0 and 12-5 in Northfield on Saturday. The sweep was highlighted by junior pitcher Josh Spitzack throwing a complete game (7 inn.) no-hitter in the Gusties 5-0 win in game one.

The Gustavus softball team opened up the MIAC season with a sweep of the College of Saint Benedict on Saturday, April 2 in St. Joseph, Minn. The Gusties came from behind in game one to win 8-6 and defeated the Blazers 4-1 in game two.

The Gustavus women’s tennis team closed out a very successful spring break trip to Southern California with a 7-2 win over Williams College on Friday. The Gusties posted a mark of 5-1 on their seven-day trip and now have an overall mark of 16-2.
