Women’s Tennis Defeats Redlands 8-1 Posted on April 1st, 2005 by

The Gustavus women’s tennis team claimed a convincing 8-1 win over #18 University of Redlands in Redlands, California on Thursday afternoon. Coach Jon Carlson’s squad won five of the six singles matches and all three doubles matches. The Gusties are now 15-2 on the season.

Gustavus will wrap up its spring break trip to Southern California with a match against #19 Williams College (Mass.) on Friday, April 1 at 9:00 am (PST). The Gusties have had a very successful spring trip with wins over #10 Pomona-Pitzer (9-0), #11 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (7-2) and #18 Redlands (8-1), while losing to #3 Washington and Lee (2-7).
