The Gustavus men’s track and field team hosted the Drake Alternative on Saturday, April 30 in St. Peter. No team scores were kept. Gustavus’ Jack Henkemeyer won the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.08

The Gustavus men’s track and field team hosted the Drake Alternative on Saturday, April 30 in St. Peter. No team scores were kept. The meet featured Division I, II and III teams from nine different schools.

Junior Jack Henkemeyer (Plymouth, Minn.) was the top performer for the Gusties on Saturday. Henkemeyer claimed the 200-meter dash title with a time of 22.08. The junior also placed second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.92.

Other notable performers were sophomore Tanner Miest, sophomore Andy Klaers (Delano, Minn.) and senior Alex Kestly (Chisholm, Minn.). Miest placed second in the 110-meter hurdles, Klaers placed second in the discus throw, and Keslty placed third in the discus throw.
