The Gustavus women’s tennis team defeated Bethel 9-0 in the quarterfinals of the MIAC Team Championship being held at the College of St. Catherine. The Gusties will now play St. Catherine in the semifinals on Saturday morning. Coach Jon Carlson’s squad improves to 27-2 with the win.
Gustavus did not drop a set in the victory and only lost 10 games in the nine matches. You can look at the complete results of the match on the MIAC Women’s Championship website.
The winner of the Gustavus/St. Kate’s match on Saturday morning will play the winner of the Carleton St. Thomas match on Saturday at 3:00 pm. The Gusties will be looking to win their 14th consecutive MIAC title.
