The Gustavus men’s indoor track & field team competed in the Minnesota State University Open on Saturday, February 5 in Mankato, Minn. The competition consisted of Division I, II and III teams, however, no team scores were kept.
Senior James Sorenson and sophomore Tanner Miest had notable performances for the Gusties. In the 5000 meter run, Sorenson placed sixth wtih a time of 16:04.25. Miest placed eighth overall in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.83.
Gustavus will be back at Minnesota State University to compete in the Ted Nelson Classic on Saturday, February 12.
