Men’s Track & Field Competes at MSU Open Posted on February 7th, 2004 by

The Gustavus Adolphus men’s track and field team competed in the Minnesota State University Open on Saturday in Mankato, Minn. Joining the Gusties at the meet were Augsburg College, Concordia University, Dakota State University, Dakota Wesleyan, Dordt College, Hamline University, Minnesota State University, UW-La Crosse, and UW-River Falls. No team scores were kept.

Jack Henkemeyer put in notable performance finishing fourth in two events for the Gusties. He recorded a time of 6.99 in the 60 meter dash and a time of 22.47 in the 200 meter dash.

The Gusties will be back in Mankato next Saturday competing in the Maverick Quad. Competition is scheduled to begin at 11 am.
