Gustavus Adolphus senior Angie Peterson has been named to the D3Hoops All-America basketball team. Peterson, a pre-season All-America selection, was named to the All-America second team and to the West All-Region first team this year.

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletics Conference women’s basketball coaches have released the 2004 awards and five Gusties were included in the list including Angie Peterson, Kristin Kachelmyer, Sara Boldt, Kate Sandvig and Jen Klohs.

The Gustavus women’s basketball team advanced to the semifinals of the MIAC Playoffs with a 79-71 win over St. Thomas in St. Peter on Monday night. The Gusties, who are the #3 seed, will now play Carleton, the #2 seed, in Northfield on Wednesday night.
