Women’s Golf Defeats UW-Stevens Point In Final Competition Before NCAA Championships
The Gustavus women's golf team defeated Wisconsin-Stevens Point 336-355 in its final competition of the regular season on a blustery Saturday afternoon at the Le Sueur Country Club. Individually, Katie Schenfeld (Fy., Indianola, Iowa) recorded the top score of 81 to pace the Gusties followed by Rachel Roberg (Sr., Rice Lake, Wis.), who posted a score of 82. The Pointers were paced by Michelle Pascavis with a total of 82.
Women’s Hockey To Face UW-Stevens Point In Rematch Of Season Opener
The #4-Gustavus women's hockey team will face the #3-UW-Stevens Point Pointers in a key non-conference game on Tuesday night at Ice Hawks Arena in Stevens Point, Wis. at 7 p.m. The Golden Gusties enter the contest at 17-1-0 overall, while the Pointers come in at 16-0-2 overall. Last weekend, Gustavus swept Augsburg 5-1 in Minneapolis and 6-0 in St. Peter. UW-Stevens Point went 1-0-1 with a 6-1 win against UW-Eau Claire and a 3-3 tie against UW-Superior.

The longest winning streak in Gustavus women's hockey history came to an end Tuesday night after a 3-2 loss to UW-Stevens Point in Stevens Point, Wis. The Pointers converted two power play opportunities in the second period as they outshot the Gusties 24-13. Gustavus, which is ranked fourth in the USCHO.com poll, dropped to 17-2-0 overall. The Gustavus men's swimming and diving team turned in a third place finish with 683.5 points at the two-day UW-Stevens Point Invitational in Stevens Point, Wis.
