Track & Field Qualifies Two for NCAA Indoor Championships, Six Earn All-Region Honors
The 2019 NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Track and Field participants were announced on Sunday and Gustavus will be represented by Taylor Rooney (So., Andover, Minn.) and Michael Hensch (Sr., North Branch, Minn.). Rooney will compete in the 60-meter hurdles with a seed time of 8.14 (10th), while Hensch will compete in the shot put with a seed distance of 16.39 meters (15th) and the weight throw with a distance of 18.47 meters (16th).
Men’s Track & Field in Fourth After Day One at MIAC Championships

Track & Field Set For MIAC Outdoor Championships This Weekend
The Gustavus men’s and women’s track & field teams are set to compete at the MIAC Outdoor Championships this weekend, hosted by Carleton College. The two-day event begins at 2 p.m. Friday with the men’s javelin and the women’s hammer throw and long jump. Saturday’s events begin at 2 p.m. with the women’s javelin and the men’s hammer throw, high jump, and triple jump.
