The Gustavus softball team wrapped up the regular season with 10-0 and 9-2 wins over St. Catherine on Wednesday afternoon in St. Paul. Rachael Click and Julie Mahre combined to drive in 11 runs during the doubleheader. Callie Nelsen recorded the win in game one, while Betsie Collins posted the win in game two. Gustavus, which finished second in the MIAC standings for the third consecutive season, improved to 30-6 overall and 18-4 in the conference.

Women’s Tennis Remains Perfect In MIAC With Wins Over St. Catherine and Saint Benedict

The Gustavus women's tennis team remained perfect in MIAC play with a pair of 9-0 wins over the College of St. Catherine on Saturday in St. Paul and the College of Saint Benedict on Sunday in St. Joseph. The Gusties also picked up a non-conference 6-3 win over Wartburg College in St. Peter on Saturday. Gustavus, which improved to 16-8 overall and 6-0 in conference play, will face three MIAC opponents this week, including league-unbeaten St. Thomas.

Volleyball Snaps MIAC Losing Streak By Defeating St. Kate’s 3-0

The Golden Gustie volleyball team only needed 74 minutes to snap its three-match MIAC losing streak defeating St. Kate's 3-0 (30-21, 30-20, 30-20) Wednesday night in St. Peter. Gustavus turned in its best hitting match of the season hitting .262 compared to .124 for St. Kate's. Bridget Burtzel dished out 45 assists, as Emily Klein compiled a match-high 21 digs. The Gusties improved to 15-6 overall and 3-3 in the MIAC, while St. Catherine falls to 9-13 overall and 1-6 in the MIAC.

Women’s Hockey Tops St. Kate’s 5-1; Peterson Becomes MIAC’s All-Time Leading Scorer

The Gustavus women's hockey team closed out its regular season with a 5-1 victory over St. Kate's on Don Roberts Ice Rink. Jessica Doig and Kelly Crandall each recorded two goals for Gustavus. The Gusties end the regular season with a 23-2 overall record and a 17-1 mark in the MIAC. The Wildcats close out their season at 0-22-2 overall and 0-16-2 in the conference.

Women’s Soccer Falls to St. Kate’s 2-1

The Gustavus women's soccer team lost a close conference match to St. Kate's 2-1 on Wednesday afternoon in St. Peter. Amy Larson scored the lone goal for the Gusties late in the second half. Gustavus falls to 2-4-1 overall and 0-2-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Wildcats are now 2-4-0 on the year and 1-2-0 in the conference.

Women’s Tennis Posts 9-0 Victories at St. Kate’s and Hamline

The Gustavus women's tennis team improved to 23-4 overall and 9-0 in the MIAC with 9-0 wins over the College of St. Catherine and Hamline University Sunday in St. Paul. Tara Houlihan, Lyndsey Palen, Darcy Haubrick and Hannah Frericks each captured two singles victories and two doubles victories for the Gusties. Gustavus will face St. Olaf Monday before hosting the MIAC Women's Tennis Championships Friday and Saturday.

Women’s Basketball Trips Up St. Kate’s 81-49

Led by Bri Monahan's 20 points and eight rebounds, the Gustavus women's basketball team moved past St. Kate's, 81-49, in St. Paul Saturday afternoon. Jess Vadnais added 15 points and six assists for the Gusties, who move to 12-4 overall, 10-3 in the MIAC. The Gusties will return to St. Paul Monday evening for a game against St. Thomas.
