For the second straight game, the Gustavus women’s soccer team claimed a 2-1 victory, this time against the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Tuesday. A goal with less than eight minutes remaining in regulation proved to be the game-winner for the Gusties as they improve to 5-1-1 overall, while UW-Stout drops to 1-4.

Six different Gusties scored goals, while all 26 players saw time on the pitch, outshooting the Vikings 34-2. Gustavus improves to 2-1 overall, while Lawrence drops to 1-3.

Women’s Soccer On The Road For Two More Non-League Matches

The Gustavus women’s soccer team is set for two more non-conference matches on the road this weekend before entering conference play next week. The Gusties take on Lawrence University at 7 p.m. Friday before traveling to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse 3 p.m. Sunday.
