Women’s 200 Free Relay Shines On Day Two Of NCAA Championships

After day two of competition at the 2011 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, the Gustavus women rank 12th with 43 points, while the men sit in 21st with 22 points. The Gustie women’s 200 freestyle relay team turned in the top performance of the day with a fifth place finish in 1:34.57.

Women’s Swimming & Diving Drops Home Opener 209-91 To St. Cloud State

The Gustavus women’s swimming and diving team fell to St. Cloud State University 209-91 in the home opener on Saturday afternoon in the Lund Center Natatorium. The Gusties tallied 13 top three finishes at the meet, as Alissa Tinklenberg was the top Gustavus swimmer of the meet.

11 Gustavus Swimmers Qualify For 2010 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships

A total of 11 (9 women, 2 men) Gustavus swimmers qualified for the 2010 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on Monday afternoon. Representing the women’s team will be Jonna Berry, Serena Elthon, Carrie Gundersen, Anika Erickson, Sarah Hund, Steph Korba, Carley Mosher, Dajana Vidovic, and Maggie Hansvick. Skylar and Whitaker Davis will represent the men’s squad. The NCAA Championships will take place on March 17-20, in the Aquatics Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
