    The Gustavus women’s golf team finished runner-up to St. Olaf at the 2011 MIAC Championships held Oct. 1-3 in Coon Rapids, Minn. The Gusties shot a team-record 961 (+97) over the three-day event, as Sam Falk led the way with a third place finish after shooting a 232 (+16).

    The Gustavus women’s golf team turned in a two-day score of 323-319-642 to finish in seventh place at the Huskie Classic held at Whisper Creek Golf Club in Huntley, Ill. on Oct. 10-11. Katie Schenfeld was the top Gustavus golfer, finishing in a three-way tie for third after firing a 76-76-152 (+8).

    The Gustauvs women’s golf team shot a team score 329 in the second day of competition to finish runner-up with a two day total of 665 (+85) at the Georgianni Memorial Invite held in Eau Claire, Wis. on Saturday and Sunday.
