Reilly Named MIAC Women’s Swimming & Diving Athlete-Of-The-Week

The Gustavus women's swimming and diving proved once again that it is one of the top college teams in the region regardless of division with a strong showing at the University of Minnesota's Minnesota Challenge. Sophomore standout Kate Reilly (Hastings, Minn. / Minnesota Virtual Academy) led the Gusties with seven top-10 finishes, including three strong individual performances and a quartet of outstanding relay finishes. For her performance, the MIAC sports information directors honored Reilly Tuesday with her second MIAC Women's Swimming and Diving Athlete-of-the-Week award of the 2015-16 season.

Swimming & Diving Teams Round Out Regular Season At Minnesota Challenge This Weekend

The Gustavus men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams are set to compete in their last meet of the regular season Friday and Saturday at the Minnesota Challenge, hosted by the University of Minnesota at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center. The meet begins at 6 p.m. Friday and resumes at 12 p.m. Saturday.

The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will travel to Grinnell, Iowa this weekend to compete at the Grinnell Invitational taking place at the Grinnell Natatorium in the Charles Benson Bear ’39 Recreation and Athletic Center. The meet will also feature teams from Coe, Colorado College, College of Saint Mary, Loras, Luther, Nebraska Wesleyan, St. Catherine, Simpson, University of Nebraska-Kearney and University of Nebraska-Omaha.
