Daw Leads Women’s Nordic Skiing at Mt. Itasca
The Gustavus women's Nordic ski team continued its season Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 21-22 by participating in the NorAm SuperTour event at Mount Itasca Ski Area near Coleraine, Minn. Senior Chandra Daw finished 15th in the classic (33:27.4) and 20th in the freestyle (29:59.5) to lead the Gusties.
Ziegler Leads Men’s Nordic Skiing Effort at Mt. Itasca SuperTour Event
The Gustavus men's Nordic ski team continued its season Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 21-22 by participating in the NorAm SuperTour event at Mount Itasca Ski Area near Coleraine, Minn. Senior Erich Ziegler recorded the top Gustie marks in both the freestyle and classic races, finishing 33rd in the classic (29:23.6) and 41st in the freestyle (25:41.4).
