The Gustavus men's tennis team saw its nine-match win streak come to an end as it fell to Division I Drake University 6-1 on Sunday in Des Moines, Iowa, but not before defeating Grinnell 8-1 late Saturday night at the Swanson Tennis Center. The Gusties have an overall record 12-4 and return to action on next Saturday for four matches at the Swanson Tennis Center.

The Gustavus women's soccer improved to 2-0 with a 3-1 win over Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa on Saturday afternoon. The Gusties scored twice in the first half and once in the second half to take a 3-0 lead, but Grinnell scored with just under four minutes left to play to make the final score 3-1. Callie Christensen, Christy Tupy, and Julien Babel scored for the Gusties.

Gustavus women's soccer fell to Grinnell College 1-0 in its home opener on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter. Both teams were deadlocked at 0-0 after 45 minutes of play. The Gusties had the majority of scoring chances throughout the game, but it was the Pioneers who were able to score the lone goal of the game. Gustavus falls to 2-1-0 on the season, while Grinnell's record improves to 2-0-1.
