Seven Named MIAC Baseball All-Conference, Novak Player of the Year

The MIAC announced its baseball awards Tuesday and Gustavus has seven student-athletes on the All-Conference Team, including the league’s Player of the Year. Bruce Novak (So., Cleveland) was voted as the Max Molock Player of the Year and joining him on the All-MIAC Team are Ethan Mocchi (Sr., Champlin), Jack Hanson (Jr., Minnetonka), Cole Pengilly (Sr., Le Sueur), Dalton Thelen (Jr., Cold Spring), Weston Lombard (Sr., Stillwater), and Damon Rademacher (Sr., Princeton).

Six Gusties Named MIAC Men’s Tennis All-Conference

The MIAC released its men’s tennis awards Tuesday and six Gusties were selected All-Conference. Jack Bergmeyer (So., Lincoln, Neb.) and Indraneel Raut (Jr., Oshkosh, Wis.) were named to the Singles Team, while Nick Aney (Jr., Rochester), Alex Budde (So., Menomonee Falls, Wis.), Daniel Fouchier (So., Nootdorp, Netherlands), and Xavier Sanga (Sr., Madison, Wis.) were named to the Doubles Team.

Erin Ericson Adds All-Conference Honors

Michael Hensch (Sr., North Branch, Minn.) was named Outstanding Field Athlete after winning the grand slam of throwing events, while Taylor Rooney (So., Andover, Minn.) and Andrew Stumbo (So., Boone, Iowa) earned All-Conference as well.

Annalee Olson-Sola (Fy., Northfield, Minn.) was named Outstanding Field Athlete, while Katie Keelin (Jr., Burnsville, Minn.), Bailey Van Den Heuvel (Sr., Mondovi, Wis.), Kourtney Kulseth (So., New Richland, Minn.), Sara Moen (So., Blaine, Minn.), Josie Blake (So., Waukegan, Ill.), Tierney Winter (Jr., Waterville, Minn.), and Abigail Schnabel (Sr., Hamburg, Minn.) earned All-Conference as well.
