Women’s Hockey Clinches 18th Regular Season Title with 5-0 Win Over Concordia

The Gustavus women's hockey defeated Concordia 5-0 Friday night, scoring two goals in each of the first two periods and one in the third. With the win, the Gusties earn their 18th MIAC Regular Season Championship, effectively clinching the No. 1 seed and home ice heading into MIAC Playoffs in a few weeks.

Shorthanded Goals Give Gusties 3-2 Win Over Hamline

The Gustavus women's hockey team rolled to a 3-2 MIAC victory over Hamline at Don Roberts Ice Rink Friday night, scoring two shorthanded goals against the Pipers to win their 12th MIAC game of the season, improving to 17-3-0 overall and 12-1-0 in conference play.

Women’s Hockey Drops Overtime Heartbreaker to No. 1 River Falls

For the third time this season, nationally-ranked Gustavus and River Falls Falcons met on the ice for a non-conference matchup. In a game of intense back-and-forth play, it was only fitting that the No. 1 Falcons and No. 2 Gusties decide their fate in overtime. And when it seemed that even overtime wouldn't be enough to put either team on top, the Falcons netted the game-winner with 5.5 second remaining in the extra period. 

Holland Sisters Lead Gusties Past St. Catherine, 3-0

The Gusties completed the sweep of St. Catherine, wrapping up the series with a 3-0 victory at home. With the win, the No. 2 nationally-ranked Gusties improve to 16-2-0 overall and 11-1-0 in MIAC play on the season. The Holland sisters combined for the Gusties' three goals, finishing the weekend with seven combined points.

Gusties Defeat St. Catherine 6-1, Tina Press Eclipses 100 Points

The Gustavus women's hockey team rolled to a 6-1 victory over St. Catherine Friday night, erupting for six unanswered goals after a quick tally by the Wildcats. With the win, the Gusties improve to 15-2-0 overall and 10-1-0 in conference play.

Women’s Hockey Gets Revenge in Rematch, Defeats Augsburg 4-0

The Gusties took their first MIAC loss of the season personally. Having fallen to Augsburg the night before in a heartbreaking 3-2 OT loss, the Gusties emerged with all the momentum and energy to defeat the Auggies in the rematch. Four different players scored a goal to lead the Gusties to a 4-0 victory.
