The Gustavus women’s volleyball team remained in the hunt for a MIAC postseason playoff spot with an impressive 3-0 win over Augsburg in St. Peter. Senior outside hitter Jessica Schaetzke led the Gusties with 13 kills and five digs.

The Gustavus women’s volleyball team dropped a heartbreaker to Carleton 3-2 in Northfield on Friday night. The Gusties lost the deciding fifth game 15-10. Jessica Schaetzke recorded 32 kills to lead Gustavus.

The Gustavus volleyball team defeated MIAC foe St. Kate’s 3-0 in St. Paul on Wednesday night. With the win, the Gusties improve to 15-4 overall and 3-2 in the MIAC. Anne Osthus led Gustavus with 16 kills.

The Gustavus volleyball team claimed a convincing 3-0 win over North Central University in a non-conference matchup in St. Peter on Tuesday night. Tara Houlihan led the Gustie attack with 14 kills and 14 digs.

The volleyball team fell to nationally ranked St. Thomas 3-0 in St. Peter on Saturday afternoon. The Tommies improve to 13-1 overall and 4-0 in the MIAC, while Gustavus falls to 13-4 and 2-2.

The Gustavus volleyball team defeated St. Olaf College 30-28, 30-20, 30-28 to improve its record to 13-2 overall and 2-1 in the MIAC. The Gusties snapped a string of 11 straight losses against the Oles dating back to 1991.

The Gustavus volleyball team stretched its winning streak to seven matches with a convincing 30-14, 30-27 and 30-22 win over the University of Minnesota-Morris on Tuesday night in St. Peter.

The Gustavus Adolphus College volleyball team went 4-0 to tie for first place with Carleton College, which also posted a 4-0 mark, at the six-team Gustavus Classic on Friday and Saturday.
