The Gustavus men’s basketball team got a down-to-the-wire 59-57 win over Augsburg on Thursday night in the MIAC Playoff Semifinals. Phil Wirtjes stole an Augsburg pass with 0:10 seconds on the clock and went coast-to-coast for a layup to give Gustavus the win and berth into the MIAC Playoff Championship game.

The Gustavus men’s swimming and diving team compiled 701 points to finish in second place at the 2010 MIAC Swimming and Diving Championships. St. Thomas won the MIAC Title with 709 points. The Gustavus men’s squad had a total of 16 All-Conference performances from eight different swimmers.
