Men’s Golf Takes Second Place at SJU Invite

The Gustavus men's golf team finished play at the SJU Invite and took second with a three round total of 887. The winner of the event, Saint John's, shot an 884.

Men’s Golf Tied for First at Saint John’s Invite

The Gustavus men's golf team competed at day one of the SJU Spring Invitational on Saturday and came out in a tie for first with Saint John's. The Gusties and Johnnies both tied with scores of 292, while St. Thomas is in third with a 295.

Men’s Golf Finishes Tied for Sixth in Decatur

The Gustavus men's golf team competed in the final day of the Take Back the Night Challenge and finished seventh of 19 team with a final score of 624. Illinois Wesleyan won the event with a 589. 

Men’s Golf in Fourth of 19 Teams After Day One in Decatur

After day one of competition at the Take Back the Night Challenge, the Gustavus men's golf team currently sits in fourth place of 19 teams. The Gusties posted a score of 315 in round one which trails the leader Illinois Wesleyan by 15 strokes. 

Men’s Golf Postpones Bobby Krig Invite

Due to recent snowfall, the Gustavus men's golf team has postponed the Bobby Krig Invitational, which was scheduled for Sunday and Monday at the Le Sueur Country Club. The Bobby Krig Invite will be rescheduled for a later date this season. 

Men’s Golf Finishes Tied for 12th at Camp Lejune

The Gustavus men's golf team competed in Camp Lejune, N.C. this past weekend and took home a 12th place finish. The Gusties carded a 311 on the Gold Course the final day to bring their three day total to 909 (+48).

Men’s Golf Sits in 12th Place After Day Two at Camp Lejune

The Gustavus men's golf team competed at their second course in as many days in Camp Lejune, N.C. The teams participating are split into two divisions, Gold and Scarlet, with the Gusties being in 12th of 29 total teams. The top 15 teams are currently in the Gold division while the bottom 14 are in the Scarlet division.

Men’s Golf Set to Begin Spring Season Friday

The Gustavus men's golf team will begin its spring season Friday when they travel to Camp Lejune, N.C. In their last event of the Fall, the Gusties tied for second in the MIAC Championships with a three round score of 886 (+22).

Captain, Holtan Honored at Minnesota’s Rochester Sports Banquet

A pair of Gusties were honored Monday night in their hometown of Rochester, Minn. for their athletic achievements after high school. Chris Captain ’18 and Nora Holtan ’19 were named Male and Female Post High School Athletes of the Year at Minnesota’s Rochester Sports Banquet, which celebrates southeast Minnesota’s 2018 top amateur athletes.
