Men’s Golf Finishes Tied for 12th at Camp Lejune

CAMP LEJUNE, N.C. – The Gustavus men’s golf team competed in Camp Lejune, N.C. this past weekend and took home a 12th place finish. The Gusties carded a 311 on the Gold Course the final day to bring their three day total to 909 (+48).

The Gusties, who were golfing in their meet of the spring, were led by Jacob Pedersen (Fy., Minnetonka, Minn.) who carded a 76-69-74 for a 219 (+5). Ben Hauge (Jr., Ramsey, Minn) and Max Ullan (So., Blaine, Minn.) followed closely behind with Hauge shooting 77-73-76 for a 226 (+12) while Ullan carded 79-69-80 for a 228 (+14). Carter Czichotzki (So., Moorhead, Minn.) shot 76-74-82 to finish with a 232 (+18) and Thomas Carlson (Jr., Plymouth, Minn.) carded an 80-78-81 for a final score of 235 (+25) to round out the top five for the Black and Gold.

The Gusties next scheduled meet is for Sunday and Monday when they host the Bobby Krig Invite at the Le Sueur Country Club.
