MIAC Men’s Golf Championships Postponed to Sunday

Saturday's play is postponed due to rain. There will be 18 holes played Sunday, starting at 10 a.m., and 36 holes Monday, starting at 8 a.m. 

Pedersen Named MIAC Men’s Golfer of the Week

Jacob Pedersen (So., Minnetonka) shot two rounds of one-under-par golf followed by an even-par 73 on Monday to finish in a tie for medalist honors at the Twin Cities Classic over the weekend. For his performance, Pedersen was named MIAC Men's Golfer of the Week. 

Men’s Golf Wins Twin Cities Classic

The No. 25-ranked Gustavus men’s golf team Monday finished strong at the Twin Cities Classic, holding on to first place for a victory in a field of 19 teams. The Gusties shot consistent each day for a total of 294-291-292-877 (+9), 18 strokes ahead of second place St. Thomas.

Men’s Golf Jumps Into Lead at Twin Cities Classic After Two Rounds

The No. 25-ranked Gustavus men’s golf team Sunday took the lead at the Twin Cities Classic with a second round 291. The Gusties, with a two-round total of 585 (+9), have an eight-stroke lead over second place UW-Eau Claire entering Monday’s final round.

Men’s Golf in Second at Twin Cities Classic, Pedersen Tied for Lead

The No. 25-ranked Gustavus men’s golf team is in second place and one stroke off the lead after one round at the Twin Cities Classic. The Gusties posted a 294 (+6) Saturday at The Links at Northfork, one behind UW-Eau Claire.

Men’s Golf Takes Second at SJU Fall Invite

The Gustavus men’s golf team Sunday improved its shot total by 10 strokes but finished just two off the lead for a second place result at the Saint John’s Fall Invitational, played at Blackberry Ridge. The Gusties shot 297-287-584 (+12) while St. Thomas won the event at 298-284-582.

Men’s Golf Tied for Lead at SJU Fall Invite

One round into the Saint John’s Fall Invitational, the Gustavus men’s golf team is tied for the lead by shooting a 297. Host Saint John’s is even with the Gusties at 297, while St. Thomas is one stroke behind.

Golf Teams to Take Part in Competitive Invitationals This Weekend

The Gustavus men’s and women’s golf teams are both in action this weekend. The men will take part in the Saint John’s Fall Invitational, played at Greystone Golf Club and Black Berry Ridge, while the women are competing in the St. Kate’s Invite at the Wilds Golf Club. Both tournaments run Saturday and Sunday.

Men’s Golf Grabs Second Place at Pioneer Creek Collegiate

The Gustavus men’s golf team posted the best second-round score Sunday at the Pioneer Creek Collegiate, jumping up a spot to finish in second place with a 297-290-293-880. St. Thomas won the event with a 287-292-284-863.

Men’s Golf in Third After Day One at Pioneer Creek

The Gustavus men’s golf team is in third place after the first round of the Pioneer Creek Collegiate. The Gusties shot a nine-over 297 and are 10 strokes behind the leader St. Thomas. Saint John’s is in second at 293.
