Men’s Basketball Ends Regular Season with 87-65 Loss at Saint John’s

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - The Gustavus men's basketball team closed out the regular season with an 87-65 loss at Saint John's on Wednesday night. With the loss, the Gusties finish with a 14-8 overall record and an 11-6 mark in the MIAC. Five Gusties finished the night with double-digit scoring while Evan Wieker (So., St. Michael) and Spencer Swanson (Fy., Waconia) each had seven rebounds.

Men’s Basketball Earns Fifth Straight Win

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Gustavus men's basketball extended its win streak to five games with an 84-69 victory at Hamline, improving to 14-7 overall and 11-5 in the MIAC. The Gusties have locked up at least the No. 4 seed in the MIAC playoffs and could move up to No. 3 with a win against Saint John's on Wednesday night paired with a Carleton loss against Bethel. 

Men’s Basketball Wins Senior Day 78-67

The Gustavus men's basketball team hosted St. Scholastica on Saturday afternoon while honoring its four seniors on their collegiate basketball careers; Benji Lundberg (Sr., Ellendale) Nolan Malo (Sr., Owatonna), Kaleb Feahn (Sr., Waseca), and Pete Lundquist (Sr., Rochester). Gustavus won over the Saints 78-67, improving to 13-7 overall and a 10-5 mark in the conference.

MOORHEAD, Minn. - The Gustavus men's basketball team pulled away in the second half to claim a 74-51 conference victory against Concordia on Wednesday night. With the win, the Gusties improve to 12-7 overall and a 9-5 mark in the MIAC.

The Gustavus men’s basketball team claimed an 84-81 victory over conference-leading Augsburg in one of its top performances of the season. With the win, the Gusties improve to 11-7 overall and 8-5 in the MIAC.

Men’s Basketball Set Back at Macalester 79-72

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The Gustavus men's basketball team took a 79-72 loss in a Saturday afternoon conference game against the Macalester Scots. The loss moves the Gusties to 9-7 overall and 6-5 in the MIAC. Pete Lundquist (Sr., Rochester) led the Gusties with 18 points and seven rebounds while Nolan Malo (Sr., Owatonna) finished with 13 points. 

Men’s Basketball Wins Overtime Thriller Over St. Olaf 96-90

SAINT PETER, Minn. - The Gustavus men's basketball team hosted St. Olaf on Wednesday night and took a 96-90 win in overtime, improving to 9-6 overall and 6-4 in the MIAC. Kaleb Feahn (Sr., Waseca)and Nolan Malo (Sr., Owatonna) each set new career scoring highs in the process, Feahn with 30 and Malo with 27.

Men’s Basketball Completes Sweep Over the Royals

SAINT PETER, Minn. –  After physical and hard fought battle between the Golden Gusties and the Royals, Gustavus swept Bethel for the first time in 11 years. The victory was led by the senior convoy of Nolan Malo (Sr., Owatonna), Kaleb Feahn (Sr., Waseca), and Pete Lundquist (Sr., Rochester).
