Christian Johnson ’21 (Buffalo) is no stranger to summer baseball. Gustavus’s ace pitcher spent last summer playing in the Northwoods League for the Kalamazoo Growlers. However as he takes his spot on the rubber for the Mankato Moondogs in 2020, the stands and dugout look slightly different.

The 2020 CoSIDA Academic All-District Baseball Teams were released Thursday and Gustavus senior second baseman Carter Clemensen (Cologne) was selected to the District 6 Team, which recognizes student-athletes from institutions in Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The CoSIDA Academic All-District Teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.
