Men’s swimmer Tanner Sonnek (Sr., North Mankato, Minn.) and all-around gymnast Amanda Malo (Sr., Greenwood, Minn.) have been selected as the Gustavus Adolphus College March Male and Female Student-Athletes of the Month, presented by Thrivent Financial and voted on by the Gustavus Sports Information Department.

Men’s Golf Finishes Tied for 12th at Camp Lejune

The Gustavus men’s golf team competed in Camp Lejune, N.C. this past weekend and took home a 12th place finish. The Gusties carded a 311 on the Gold Course the final day to bring their three day total to 909 (+48).

The Gustavus baseball team will travel to Collegeville, Minn. 0n Tuesday for a doubleheader with a 2:30 p.m. start time versus Saint John’s. The Gusties enter the contests with a 11-7 overall mark and 2-2 record in the MIAC while the Johnnies are 18-7 overall and 3-3 in the league.

The Gustavus women’s golf team finished up play at the WashU Invite on Sunday. The Gusties, who scored 322 on day one, scored a 324 on day two to take on home ninth place honors. Carleton won the event with a 598.
