Five Gusties Named Women’s Tennis All-Conference, Carlson Earns Co-Coach Of The Year

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its women’s tennis postseason awards Tuesday and five Gusties were recognized as All-Conference members, while Head Coach Jon Carlson has been selected as the Co-Coach of the Year.

Baseball Concludes Regular Season At St. Thomas And Augsburg

The Gustavus baseball team is set to close out its regular season schedule this weekend with two Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference road doubleheaders at the University of St. Thomas and Augsburg University. The Gusties (16-15, 8-8 MIAC) will take on the Tommies (17-13, 12-4 MIAC) on Saturday in St. Paul prior to heading to Minneapolis on Sunday to face the Auggies (14-16, 6-10 MIAC).

The Gustavus men's and women's track & field teams are set to compete in the Minnesota State University Twilight meet Friday afternoon in Mankato, Minn. Field events are set to begin at 2 p.m., followed by track events at 4 p.m.

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Athlete of the Week award winner for men’s tennis on Tuesday and Gustavus’s Patrick Whaling (Jr., Manakin Sabot, Va.) was honored with the distinction.
