The Gustavus women’s softball team recorded a sweep against Concordia by the scores of 7-0 and 6-0 on Wednesday afternoon in St. Peter. Audrey Lenoch (Sr., Pine Island, Minn.) led the Gusties with five hits in six at-bats on the day, including a triple, and five RBI.

The Gustavus baseball team split a conference doubleheader with Saint John’s on Tuesday afternoon in Saint Peter. The Gusties came from behind to win game one 5-3, but then lost game two 4-2. Gustavus is now 12-9 overall and 2-4 in the MIAC.

The Gustavus Adolphus/Bethany Lutheran baseball game rescheduled for Monday, April 17 has been postponed until Tuesday, May 2 at 3 p.m. at Myrum Memorial Field in St. Peter. Gustavus will return to MIAC action Tuesday, April 11 with a home doubleheader against Saint John’s.

The Gustavus women’s golf team began its spring season with an important first place finish at the 11-team Wartburg Invitational in Waverly, Iowa. The Gusties posted a 36-hole total of 313-331—644 to finish six shots ahead of host Wartburg at 322-328—650. Gustie senior Kelli Groff claimed medalist honors with a total of 74-79—153.
