    The Gustavus gymnastics team took sixth place at the WIAC/NCGA West Regional on Saturday at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, accumulating a total of 184.725 – the second highest mark of the season. Host UW-Stout won the meet with a 190.225.

    Gustavus throwing specialist Michael Hensch (Sr., North Branch, Minn.) took 11th in the shot put Saturday at the NCAA Division III Men’s Indoor Track & Field Championships.

    Michael Hensch (Sr., North Branch, Minn.) and Taylor Rooney (So., Andover, Minn.) represented Gustavus at the NCAA Division III Men’s Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday.

  • Baseball Sweeps Doubleheader to Conclude Tucson Invitational

    The Gustavus baseball team concluded play at the Tucson Invitational on Friday with a doubleheader sweep over Wabash. The Gusties took game one 5-2 before a 10-7 win in game two, improving to 5-3 overall.

  • Baseball Walks Off a Winner Over Carthage

    Brice Panning (Jr., Hamburg, Minn.) played the role of hero Thursday, driving in the game-winning run in walk-off fashion Thursday for the Gustavus baseball team in a 3-2 win over Carthage. The Gusties are now 3-3 overall with one day remaining in their trip to Tucson.

  • Baseball Loses 6-4 to Wabash in Tucson

    The Gustavus baseball team Wednesday night dropped a 6-4 decision to Wabash at the Tucson Invitational, moving to 2-3 overall. The Gusties were able to erase a three-run deficit to tie the game in the fifth, but Wabash answered with three more runs to secure the win.

  • Whaling Earns MIAC Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week

    Patrick Whaling (Sr., Manakin Sabot, Va.) helped the Gustavus men’s tennis team complete a 9-0 shutout victory over Hamline on Saturday with wins at No. 1 singles and doubles.   • Goor, Sengvongxay Earn MIAC Men’s Hockey Recognition

    The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its men’s hockey postseason awards Monday and two Gustavus student-athletes received recognition. Robbie Goor (So., Anoka, Minn.) earned All-Conference honorable mention and Toby Sengvongxay (Fy., Luverne, Minn.) was named to the All-Rookie Team.
