NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s track and field team took home second place of four teams, finishing with 123 points. St. Thomas won the event with a score of 199.
The Gusties had five event wins, with Taylor Rooney posting a time of 8.03 in the prelims to tie his previous career-high, while Steven Orzolek took first in the shot put and holds the eighth farthest mark in Division III this season with a throw of 16.15m. They also got first place finishes from Garet Grant, Noah Johnson, Alexander DuMoulin, and the 4×200 relay team.
