Khrystjan Petersen (Fy., Faribault) carded a 78 in round two and is tied for 17th.

“The men held tough today in difficult conditions at Elk River,” Head Coach Scott Moe said. “When you miss any shots out there it takes great scrambling skills to save par, and we were able to manage that very well today. Under par out there today was a great score. We’re looking forward to playing Minnesota Valley tomorrow, it is in amazing golf course in excellent condition. You have to execute your shots in order to produce good scores, and I am looking forward to seeing our guys do that tomorrow.”

The third and final round is Monday at Minnesota Valley Country Club.
