SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s golf team will host a quadrangular on Friday and Saturday to close out their season as they host Wisconsin Eau-Claire, St. Thomas, and Bethel at the Le Sueur Country Club. This weekends invite will as also be the last meet for Blake Heiman (Sr., River Falls, Wis.) , and Thomas Carlson (Jr., Plymouth, Minn.), the two graduates on the team.
This year, the Gusties have been led Jacob Pedersen (Fy., Minnetonka, Minn.) who has posted an average score of 73.3 as well as medalist honors at the MIAC Championships in the fall. Ben Hauge (Jr., Ramsey, Minn.) and Max Ullan (So., Blaine, Minn.) have been right behind Pedersen with averages of 74.3 and 75.8 respectively. Carter Czichotzki (So., Moorhead, Minn.) has been the teams next highest regular scoring an average of 77.9, while Thomas Carlson rounds out the top five with a 79.1.
As a team, Gustavus shot their lowest round of the season in round two at Camp Lejune, with a 285.
The Gusties will tee off today at 1:30 at Le Sueur with the same start time tomorrow.
