EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The Gustavus women’s golf team has a stronghold on the leader board after day one of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Georgianni Memorial Blugold Invite. The Gusties sit in first place with four golfers in the top four.

After Sunday’s round, the Gusties have a score of 324 (+36).

“Both teams got off to a good start against the field today,” Assistant Coach Randy Stuckey said. “I was very pleased with our scoring in a tough course that we had not played. We are in a good position after the first day and are focusing on a good finish.”
