ST. PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus cross country teams will head to River Falls, Wisconsin this evening for their first official race of the season. The women’s 6k race will begin at 6 p.m., while the men’s 8k will begin at 6:45 p.m.
Both the men’s and women’s teams will look to build upon their performances at the Gustie Invitational last Saturday in St. Peter. The men defeated the alumni team for the first time since 2009 with a score of 22, while the women also took first place with a team score of 30.
The Falcon Invitational will be a new experience for all team members, as it takes the place of the Dutch Invitational that the Gusties took part in last season.
