Women’s Swimming Finishes Fourth at UW-Stevens Point Invitational

The Gustavus women’s swimming team finished fourth out of six teams at the UW-Stevens Point Invitational that finished up on Saturday evening. The Gusties were led by Carrie Gundersen on the second day as she claimed first place finishes in both the 200 free and the 1,650 free.

The Gustavus women’s swimming team finished fourth out of six teams at the UW-Stevens Point Invitational that finished up on Saturday evening. The Gusties were led by Carrie Gundersen on the second day as she claimed first place finishes in both the 200 free and the 1,650 free. Gustavus totalled 466 points, while UW-Stevens Point finished first with 1,028 points.

Other top finishes for the Gusties on the final day of the two-day invitational included Sarah Koepp placing fifth in the 100 breast, Christi O’Conner placing seventh in the 200 backstroke, Yoshi Ludwig placing sixth in the 100 fly, and the 200 medley relay team finishing in fourth place.
