Taylor Drenttel Named MIAC Women’s Golfer Of The Week

Gustavus Adolphus College sophomore Taylor Drenttel (Eagan, Minn.) has been named MIAC Women’s Golfer of the Week for the second time this spring by the MIAC Golf Coaches. Drenttel claimed medalist honors for the second time in three tournaments this spring posting a 36-hole total of 76-77-153 at the Carleton Invitational over the weekend.

Drenttel has compiled a stroke average of 75.6 in six rounds this spring.

Drenttel won by four shots and her first round of 76 and her 36-hole total of 153 are both tournament records. As a team, Gustavus rallied in the final round with a tournament record 313 to win the invite with a 36-hole total of 326-313–639.
