MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Gustavus women’s tennis team Sunday closed out the regular season with a 9-0 win over Macalester at Baseline Tennis Center. The Gusties finish the regular season 16-12 overall and 9-1 in the MIAC, earning the conference’s No. 2 seed for this week’s playoffs. The Gusties earned a first round bye with the No. 2 seed and will host the highest remaining seed on Friday.

“Today was a great win, especially coming off such an emotional match yesterday,” Head Coach Jon Carlson. “I’m really pleased with how the team responded to finish the regular season strong. This is good momentum heading into playoffs this week.”
