BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The MIAC today announced changes to the winter postseason events this week. The schedule changes have been made “out of an abundance of caution, with the focus on health and safety, due to a significant snow storm this week.”
The Gustavus women’s basketball team’s semifinal matchup originally scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday has been moved to 7 p.m. Friday. The MIAC championship game will be played at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Gusties are the No. 1 seed and will host throughout the MIAC postseason.
The Gustavus women’s hockey team’s semifinal matchup originally scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday has been moved to 4 p.m. Sunday. If women’s basketball does not host on Sunday, the women’s hockey game will be played at 2 p.m. The Gusties are the No. 1 seed and will host throughout the MIAC postseason.
The MIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships have shifted by one day to Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (event times and schedule remain the same).
