BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Katie McCoy (Sr., Grafton, Wis.) picked up her fourth Athlete of the Week honor of the season, the MIAC announced Monday afternoon. McCoy helped the Gusties to two more wins, making 22 saves between the two games, including a 10-save shutout in the Gusties’ 1-0 win over MIAC Playoff-bound St. Olaf. With the shutout, McCoy now leads the NCAA with nine on the season, and shares the NCAA Division I and Division III lead amongst active goaltenders, male or female. For her performance, McCoy was named MIAC Women’s Hockey Defensive Player of the Week.
