BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Jacob Pedersen (Sr., Minnetonka) competed in three single-round tournaments last week, taking first place twice and second place once. Pedersen won the Gustie-Johnnie Dual on April 21 with a two-under-par 71 at Minnesota Valley Country Club, helping the Gusties defeat the Johnnies by one shot. Pedersen followed with another medalist honor on April 23 at the SJU Winter Classic hosted at Lynx National Golf Club, scoring a three-under-par 69. Pedersen wrapped up the week with a second-place finish on April 24 at the SJU Spring Invite, hosted at the Monticello Country Club, carding a one-over-par 72. Among the three rounds, Pedersen shot four-under-par with 13 birdies. For his performance, Pedersen has been named MIAC Men’s Golfer of the Week.
