Women’s Tennis Wins MIAC Opener 9-0 at Saint Mary’s
The Gustavus women's tennis team kicked off conference play Sunday with a 9-0 victory at Saint Mary's. The Gusties improve to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the MIAC, while the Cardinals drop to 2-1 overall and 0-1 in the league.
Men’s Hockey Wins Shootout Over Hamline
SAINT PAUL, Minn. - After the coming back from a three goal deficit on Friday night, the Gusties were the ones to fall back on their three goal lead in the Saturday night series closer against Hamline in the 5-5 tie. The Gusties battled through a second straight overtime to a shootout with Connor Clemons (Sr., Savage) finding the back of the net in the first round to gain the extra point. With the tie the Gusties move to 5-13-4 and 0-7-3.
Track & Field Continues to Make Improvements at Carleton and South Dakota
The Gustavus men's and women's track & field teams continued to make forward strides Saturday at Carleton's Meet of the Hearts and at day two of the South Dakota State University Indoor Classic.

Women’s Hockey Earns Split with Hamline, Wins 4-2
After suffering its first conference loss of the season Friday night, the Gustavus women's hockey team responded Saturday with a 4-2 win over Hamline to split the series. The Gusties improve to 17-3-2 overall and 11-1-2 in the MIAC.
Women’s Basketball Beats St. Scholastica 68-45 on Senior Day
After somewhat of a sluggish start Saturday afternoon, the Gustavus women's basketball team found its footing en route to a 68-45 victory over St. Scholastica. The Gusties improve to 17-4 overall and 15-3 in the MIAC.
Men’s Basketball Wins Senior Day 78-67
The Gustavus men's basketball team hosted St. Scholastica on Saturday afternoon while honoring its four seniors on their collegiate basketball careers; Benji Lundberg (Sr., Ellendale) Nolan Malo (Sr., Owatonna), Kaleb Feahn (Sr., Waseca), and Pete Lundquist (Sr., Rochester). Gustavus won over the Saints 78-67, improving to 13-7 overall and a 10-5 mark in the conference.

In a matchup of the MIAC's two point leading teams, Gustavus women's hockey dropped its first conference game of the season 2-1 in overtime at Hamline. The Gusties drop to 16-3-2 overall and 10-1-2 in the MIAC.
Distance Runners Set PRs at South Dakota State
Distance runners from the Gustavus men's and women's track & field teams competed Friday at the South Dakota State University Indoor Classic and set a number of personal best times running against Division I competition.
