Gustie Men in 1st, Women in 2nd After Day Two of Swimming and Diving MIAC Championships

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Gustavus swimming and diving team continued to put the pressure on in the second day of the MIAC Championships. The Gustavus men currently lead with 343 points while the women sit in second place with 250 points. St. Catherine currently holds a 24 point lead.

Women’s Hockey Claims 17th MIAC Regular Season Title

The Gustavus women's hockey team won its 17th MIAC regular season championship with a 3-2 overtime victory at St. Scholastica on Thursday night. With one game left in the regular season, the No. 6-ranked Gusties improve to 18-3-2 overall and 12-1-2 in the league.

Women’s Hoops Ends Regular Season on High Note, Beats Saint Ben’s 57-36

The Gustavus women's basketball team closed out the regular season Wednesday with its most dominant defensive performance of the season, beating Saint Ben's 57-36.

Swim and Dive Opens Day One of MIAC Championship

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Gustavus swimming and diving teams competed in the first night of the MIAC Swimming and Diving Championships. After the first five events the Gustie women are in third place with 64 points while St. Catherine is leading with 80 points. The Gustavus men's team is in second place (115) and three points behind Saint John's. 

Men’s Basketball Ends Regular Season with 87-65 Loss at Saint John’s

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - The Gustavus men's basketball team closed out the regular season with an 87-65 loss at Saint John's on Wednesday night. With the loss, the Gusties finish with a 14-8 overall record and an 11-6 mark in the MIAC. Five Gusties finished the night with double-digit scoring while Evan Wieker (So., St. Michael) and Spencer Swanson (Fy., Waconia) each had seven rebounds.

Eric Butorac ’03 Named Western & Southern Open Tournament Director

Former ATP Tour player Eric Butorac, a 2003 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, has been named Tournament Director of the Western & Southern Open.

Men’s Basketball Earns Fifth Straight Win

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Gustavus men's basketball extended its win streak to five games with an 84-69 victory at Hamline, improving to 14-7 overall and 11-5 in the MIAC. The Gusties have locked up at least the No. 4 seed in the MIAC playoffs and could move up to No. 3 with a win against Saint John's on Wednesday night paired with a Carleton loss against Bethel. 

Women’s Hoops Locks in MIAC No. 2 Seed, Wins 62-47 at Hamline

The Gustavus women's basketball team Monday secured the No. 2 seed in the MIAC playoffs with a 62-47 victory over Hamline. The Gusties improve to 18-4 overall and 16-3 in the MIAC.

Potockova Selected MIAC Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week

Simona Potockova (Sr., Nova' Dubnica, Slovakia) opened the MIAC schedule with wins at No. 1 singles and doubles against Saint Mary's on Feb. 13. Potockova and doubles partner Yuki Oda won 8-2 in doubles and the senior followed with a 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) win at No. 1 singles to help the Gusties shut out the Cardinals, 9-0.
