Men’s Basketball Downs UW-River Falls 82-63

RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The Gustavus men's basketball team found success in its first win of the season at UW-River Falls with an 82-63 victory in a complete game effort. With the victory, the Gusties improve to 1-2 overall.

Women’s Basketball Wins Home Opener 74-57 Over Luther

The Gustavus women's basketball team led wire-to-wire in Wednesday's 74-57 victory over Luther in the home opener. The Gusties improve to 1-1 overall while the Norse drop to 1-3. 

Becker Named MIAC Men’s Swim & Dive Athlete of the Week

Andrew Becker (Jr., Northfield) collected victories in the 50 free, 100 free, and 200 medley relay, and added a second-place finish in the 100 fly in a dual versus St. Olaf over the weekend.

Holtan Named All-American, Embacher Earns Honorable Mention

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its annual AVCA All-Americans awards on Tuesday and Gustavus is represented by Kate Holtan (Sr., Rochester) who was named third team All-American and Hailey Embacher (Sr., Mankato) was named honorable mention.

Abegglen Earns Fifth MIAC Special Teams Athlete of the Week

Andrew Abegglen (Jr., Mound) made a 31-yard field goal late in Gustavus's 39-7 victory at Concordia to tie the program record of 13 made field goals in a season. He is now tied with Ryan Boutwell - who went 13-of-18 in 1997 - for the school record.

Men’s Hoops Comeback Falls Short at No. 4 UW-Platteville

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The Gustavus men’s basketball team fell to 0-2 on the season after dropping a non-conference matchup against the UW-Platteville Pioneers with a final score of 77-62. 

Men’s Hockey Loses 3-1 to No. 12 UW-River Falls

RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The Gustavus men’s hockey team looked to respond Saturday night at UW-River Falls in a non-conference matchup. The Gusties played the 12th ranked Falcons extremely tough but unfortunately came up just short in a 3-1 loss, setting the Gusties back 2-4 on the season.

Swim and Dive Teams Win MIAC Duel at St. Olaf

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The Gustavus swimming and diving teams were victorious in a conference meet at St. Olaf on Saturday. The Gustie women won 159-125, while the men impressed with marks of 220 to the Oles 77.

Women’s Hockey Completes Sweep at St. Kate’s, Wins 1-0

The No. 6-ranked Gustavus women's hockey team completed the series sweep over St. Catherine on Saturday afternoon with a 1-0 win, improving to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the MIAC.
