Men’s Soccer Shuts Out St. Norbert

The Gustavus men's soccer team hosted a Sunday afternoon matchup for the first time since 2019. With the 3-0 win over the St. Norbert Green Knights, the Gusties move to 3-2 on the season.

Women’s Golf Breaks 36-Hole Program Record, Regalado Cards Hole in One

 The Gustavus women's golf team finished day two of the Wartburg Fall Invite etching their names into the record book after carding 604 on 36 holes, surpassing the 2008 record by one stroke. Additionally, Sydney Regalado (Sr., Rosemount) carded an ace on the fourteenth hole. The Gusties placed in fourth out of 16 teams, with St. Catherine winning the tournament with a final score of of 586. 

Men’s Soccer Lifts Past No. 5 Luther 3-1

The Gustavus men's soccer team took a 3-1 win over No. 5 ranked Luther College in a Saturday afternoon contest. With the win, the Gusties move to 2-2 on the season.

Women’s Soccer Tops UW-River Falls 1-0

Katie Ashpole's (Sr., Chaska) goal in the 56th minute proved to be the only score Saturday as the Gustavus women's soccer team beat UW-River Falls 1-0 at the Gustie Soccer Field. The Gusties improve to 2-2 overall while the Falcons drop to 1-4. 

Volleyball Brings Home a 4-0 Finish at Cornell Tournament

The Gustavus volleyball team capped its success in the final matches of the Cornell tournament and left 4-0 on the weekend after winning 3-2 over Coe College and 3-0 over Grinnell. With the wins, the Gusties move to 8-1 on the season.

Football Upsets No. 15 Wartburg 27-18

Three second half touchdown passes and a number of key defensive stops late in the fourth quarter propelled the Gustavus football team to a 27-18 upset over No. 15-ranked Wartburg College on Saturday at Hollingsworth Field. The Gusties improve to 2-0 overall while the Knights drop to 1-1. 

Women’s Golf Cards Second Lowest Score in Program History

The Gustavus women's golf team finished day one of the Wartburg carding a 299, the second lowest in program history after day one of the Wartburg Fall Invitational. The team scored two strokes behind the 2008 record and sits tied in second place behind St. Catherine.

Volleyball Wins Both Friday Night Contests

The Gustavus volleyball team traveled to Iowa for the opening matches of the Cornell tournament on Friday night and came away with a pair of wins; 3-0 over Cornell College and 3-1 over Wheaton College. With the wins, the Gusties move to 6-1.

Football Welcomes No. 15 Wartburg Saturday for Home Opener

The Gustavus football team welcomes No. 15-ranked Wartburg for a 1 p.m. non-conference matchup Saturday at Hollingsworth Field in the home opener. Both teams enter the contest 1-0 overall after winning their Week 1 games. The Gusties defeated Buena Vista 80-58 while the Knights beat Monmouth 44-3.
