BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Gustavus men’s golfer Jacob Pederson (Jr., Minnetonka) has been named MIAC Men’s Golfer of the Week for his performance at the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational on Friday and Saturday. Pedersen finished his first rounds of the season with marks of 78 and 69 for a combined total of 147. His second round score of 69 (-3) featured five birdies to move up 26 spots to finish tied for sixth out of 110 golfers. As a team the Gusties finished in a sixth place tie out of 20 teams in the weekend event.
