NORMAN, Okla. — Division III PING All-Region honorees were announced Wednesday aftertoon by the GCAA and Jacob Pedersen (So., Minnetonka) and Max Ullan (Jr., Blaine) earned the award for Gustavus. A total of 96 players across six regions – Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, South, Great Lakes, Central, and West – earned all-region honors for 2020.

Pedersen earns the nod after a solid fall season that saw him shoot a team-low average of 72.6. He ended the first half of the season on top of his game, placing second twice and first once in the Gusties’ final three meets. Pederson finished 2nd in a field of 120 players at the Saint John’s Fall Invitational after posting a second round 68, before taking first at the Twin Cities Classic the following weekend with a 71-71-73-215. Pedersen concluded his fall on a high note, shooting a 69 in the final round of the MIAC Championships to place second.

Ullan had a consistent fall for the Gusties with a scoring average of 73.1. At the Pioneer Collegiate on Sept. 7-8, he finished second among all Division III competitors after carding 73-70-72-215 for a one under. Ullan then finished his fall with three straight top 10 finishes. He finished tied for third at the Saint John’s Fall Invite and 10th at the Twin Cities Classic, before a fifth place finish in the MIAC Championships.
