COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s track and field team began competition at the 2020 MIAC Indoor Championships Friday and are in seventh of 11 teams after day one.

“I am very proud of the way we competed,” said Head Coach Aaron Lund. “We fought very hard for every point today. Our team stood out because of our fight, desire to succeed and our team spirit. Lead by conference champions, All-Conference honors, and many personal bests, we are ahead of our day one projections and in a great spot heading into the final day of competition. We are excited and ready to take advantage of the opportunity tomorrow.”

Taylor Rooney highlighted the day for the men, earning all-conference honors in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.01.
