Men’s Track and Field Finishes Second at St. Olaf Quad

The Gustavus men’s track and field team took home second place of four teams, finishing with 123 points. St. Thomas won the event with a score of 199.

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s track and field team took home second place of four teams, finishing with 123 points. St. Thomas won the event with a score of 199.

The Gusties had five event wins, with Taylor Rooney posting a time of 8.03 in the prelims to tie his previous career-high, while Steven Orzolek took first in the shot put and holds the eighth farthest mark in Division III this season with a throw of 16.15m. They also got first place finishes from Garet Grant, Noah Johnson, Alexander DuMoulin, and the 4×200 relay team.
