The Gustavus football team will kick off its 2019 campaign Saturday at Hollingsworth Field as the Gusties host the Martin Luther College Knights for a 1 p.m. contest. Last season the Gusties finished 6-4 overall including a 5-3 mark in the MIAC to finish fourth.

The Gustavus women’s soccer team faced a tough regional opponent in Loras on Sunday and fell by a score of 3-1. The Gusties took a 1-0 lead early in the game but the Duhawks countered with three unanswered goals for the win. Gustavus is now 0-2 overall while Loras is 2-0.

The Gustavus women’s golf team tied for fifth place out of 11 teams at the Saint Benedict Invite, played Saturday and Sunday at Blackberry Ridge. The Gusties shot 333 on Saturday and followed with 329 on Sunday for a total of 662 (+86).
